How to take care of your C7D Hybrid-Cajon:
Maintaining your warranty and keeping your Circle 7 Drum in good condition requires only that you treat it as you would any other fine musical instrument. By following a few basic rules and using common sense you will ensure that your drum holds it’s sound and looks beautiful indefinitely.
• Store in a cool, dry place, in a good quality case.
• Protect from extreme exposure to or fluctuations of sun, heat, moisture, temperature, etc. For example, never leave it your car on a hot day, never leave it in direct sunlight, do not store in an unheated space, etc.
• Humidity is more important that temperature. Pay attention to the relative humidity where you live and try to keep the drum in a balanced environment, ideally between 40% and 50% relative humidity. See chart below for more details.
• Always transport drum in a good quality case.
• Clean and treat the drum surface as you would any piece of fine woodwork.
• Do not play the drum with anything other than your open hands or brushes specifically designed for cajon drums.
Damage to the drum caused by using it any way other than as intended is not covered by the warranty. For example, bashing, kicking, punching or other wise beating the hell out of the drum with your hands until it is broken is not covered by the warranty. Damage caused by hitting drum with anything other than your hands or cajon brushes is not covered by the warranty. Damage caused by abuse such as falling, dropping, or otherwise physically mistreating the drum is not covered. Wood is a natural material that will always change in response to variations in it's environment. Failures due to environmental conditions are not covered under this warranty. See chart below .
In other words, if you break it or abuse it, that's your problem, but if it fails under normal conditions due to improper manufacturing or defective materials, I will be more than happy to repair or replace the item.
